Companies that are open
to hiring you
Registering and talking to us is free. For the jobs we introduce, your adviser also helps you prepare documents and interviews at no charge.
Not a service that
only sends you listings.
We go through your major, your experience, your Japanese level and how you want to work, and think about your career in Japan together with you.
Alongside one-to-one support from your H-bridge adviser, you can also get information and advice from people who have already job-hunted in Japan and from others aiming for the same thing.
We also speak with each company directly, and check the things a job posting never tells you: how they think, and how they actually approach hiring international staff.
What we are aiming at is not just getting you an offer. It is helping you find a company that suits you, and work there with confidence for a long time.
Support that does not end at the offer.
About the jobs we introduce
We do not simply republish job postings. H-bridge speaks with the company and checks what is behind them first.
Companies with a real reason to hire you
Not “because we are short of people”, but companies that have a reason for hiring international staff. We also check whether they have the structure to receive you.
- Why the company hires international staff
- Whether international colleagues are already there
- What support exists after you join
- A message from the person in charge
The things a posting does not tell you
Beyond the job title and the conditions, we make sure you can check what you will actually be asked to do, and how much Japanese it really needs, before you apply.
- The posted role, and the actual work
- The Japanese level the work requires
- The experience and qualities they are looking for
- Location, and whether relocation is expected
One adviser, from applying to after you join
For the jobs we introduce, the same adviser stays with you from preparing for selection through to questions after you have started. All of it is free.
- Preparing your application documents
- Interview preparation for that specific company
- Arranging the selection schedule
- Basic questions about residence status
- Questions after you join
Preparing for those jobs
is free.
For the jobs H-bridge introduces, your adviser helps you write your application documents and prepare for interviews, at no charge. We work from what that particular company cares about. We also answer basic questions about residence status as it relates to getting a job or changing jobs.
* If you would rather learn job hunting in Japan itself, systematically, before you have any target companies, we run H-bridge Academy (paid). Joining it is not a condition for job introductions.
* Where a formal immigration application or specialist procedure is needed, we will point you to a qualified professional such as an administrative scrivener. H-bridge does not file applications on your behalf.
